We believe our children are offered big opportunities to broaden their horizons and prepare them for the fullness of life through our deeply embedded Christian rooted vision.
We use the Devon and Torbay agreed syllabus and Understanding Christianity units. These enable us to prepare pupils for opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life in Modern Britain.
These units and syllabuses enable pupils to make sense of their own beliefs, make connections and understand the impact.
It is a spiralling curriculum that builds on their prior knowledge and key concepts they have learnt. The children will keep their books as a way of building on this prior learning and to build up a reflective log of their thoughts and how their spiritual outlook might change as they grow.
